Saudi Client Visits and Purchases Hydraulic Transformer Transport Trailer

Recently, a customer from Saudi Arabia visited our factory in search of a transport solution for their substation projects. During the visit, the client outlined their primary operational challenges: transporting massive electrical transformers across unpaved desert routes and mountainous areas. They highlighted that transformers have an extremely high center of gravity, causing a severe risk of tilting and rolling over on uneven roads. Additionally, the access roads to the new substation sites feature sharp turns, making standard rigid trailers unable to navigate safely. After a tour of our production facility and a technical review of our chassis design, they found the exact solution they needed. They immediately finalized an order for our hydraulic transformer transport trailer to resolve these high-risk transport issues.

To safely navigate uneven desert routes and sharp mountain access roads, this trailer relies on a heavy-duty independent hydraulic suspension combined with a multi-axle steering mechanism. Unlike standard leaf springs, the hydraulic setup actively raises or lowers individual wheel bogies to compensate for severe dips, keeping the highly sensitive transformer perfectly level to completely eliminate rollover risks. Simultaneously, the hydraulic steering system ensures all wheel bogies steer synchronously based on the truck's turning angle. This drastically reduces the turning radius, allowing the long trailer combination to easily negotiate tight corners without scrubbing tires or risking structural twist.

What impressed the Saudi client most was the dual-control lifting system. Operators don't have to rely solely on the manual valve console mounted on the chassis. The trailer comes equipped with a wireless remote control. This means the operator can walk alongside the trailer in dangerous sections, visually inspecting the road and using the remote to instantly adjust the trailer's height or level the cargo safely from a distance.
