Recently, a heavy transport contractor in the UAE took on a challenging wind energy project. Their job was to move massive 80-meter-long wind turbine blades from the port to a high-altitude assembly site. However, the route was far from easy, involving narrow, steep mountain roads and extremely tight switchback corners.
The client was highly concerned. Transporting an 80m blade is hard enough, but doing it on narrow mountain curves poses a massive safety risk. If the trailer is too long and cannot steer properly, it will get stuck on the corners or risk tipping over on steep sections.

The Solution (Extendable Frame & Active Steering): The client was worried a standard long trailer would get stuck on sharp turns. Our trailer features a telescopic, extendable beam that expands to fit the 80m blade but remains highly maneuverable.
More importantly, the rear axles are equipped with a hydraulic active steering system. As the truck turns, the rear wheels independently steer to follow the tractor's exact path. This drastically reduces the turning radius, allowing the massive 80m cargo to smoothly clear tight mountain corners without swinging out into the opposite lane or getting stuck.

The Solution (Low Center of Gravity & Robust Suspension): Tipping over on a steep incline was a major concern. We designed this wind blade trailer with a lowered chassis profile to drop the center of gravity as much as possible. Combined with a heavy-duty mechanical suspension system, the trailer actively absorbs the stress of the uneven terrain. The client noted that even on the steepest and bumpiest sections of the route, the blade remained perfectly balanced and secure.
